    Rajan has always been a great believer in training and education and has been quoted as saying “Education is one tool that can carve an entire nation’s fortune.”

    Putting this faith into practice, he worked hard to help the establishment of a College in Solan district, taking on responsibility as a trustee of the college.

    Focus & Professionalism Right from the Start

    The group’s first venture, in 1988, was as a sub-dealer in the Electronics and Automobile Industry.

    Progressive marketing strategies and sound business practices created exponential growth into the authorised dealership of generators such as Birla Yamaha, and two-wheelers such as Kinetic Honda and LML.

    Further diversification came from a different business stream which was formed by becoming distributor of Maxima Watches for the entire Delhi & Haryana region.

    Rajan and his colleagues were continually active and alert in identifying new opportunities, and they foresaw the importance and potential of the mobile phone.

    They made their first inroads into the segment with the distributors of Nokia mobile phones for the Haryana region, later adding Delhi to their portfolio.

    Continuing the Successful, Growth, Strategy

    The DNS group secured lucrative distribution agreements with some of the world’s leading brands including iconic names such as Philips, Sony, VIVO, TECHNO, AO Smith, CEAT Tyres, Crompton and TVS amongst others.

    The fast-growing DNS Group then made a move which has seen it become a true market leader. The Natural Indian Stone sector was dominated by native players, and DNS believed their strategy and business acumen could help them dominate the industry.

    A change in thinking took the group into the UK, and this dramatic shift, initiated by DNS Group, enabled productive expansion into Ireland and the USA.
